![]() ![]() If you want something minimal and functional that will ‘get the job done’ without any extra flair, this would be a good planner.Using a planner is one of the best ways to stay organized and on top of your goals, no matter what they are. There was some show through of the graph paper on the weekly spread to the monthly calendar. The dates at a glance calendars on the monthly and weekly spread are the smallest I’ve ever seen for a planner 0.75” wide. The year isn’t printed on the spine – the planner could be mistaken for any notebook.Plain boring cover with no option to personalise.Due to the book binding, the planner doesn’t have much room to expand if you want to use lots of stickers and washi to decorate. While it’s a book / sewn bound planner the pages actually lay flat.Very sturdy hardcover – one of the sturdiest I’ve seen in a planner.Wider line spacing large than the standard 0.25” that most planners have.without worrying about it clashing with the design of the planner Subtle design so you could add stickers, washi tape etc.The annual calendar, monthly calendar and weekly planner all start on a Monday (consistent). The paper is cream and smooth to write on however everything had bad ghosting ? I also did some highlighter and stamp swatches. I tried various ballpoint, gel, fine tip and marker tip pens – there was some ghosting on the back side of the page. The colors aren’t that nice and they’re quite big (approx 0.75″) I’m not a fan of these planners stickers. Tabs are preferable and make it quicker and easier to find things but this is a good alternative: Instead, the months are shaded on the side of the pages for each month. This page could be good for marking all the places you’ve been or where you want to go during the year. Time zones page is a nice idea… but probably quicker to just look it up on your phone. These travel planning pages are a bit too brief and would really only be useful for general overview / working out where you’re going, not for detailed trip planning. I really love the right side of the weekly spread with the big action list and wide line spacing. The dates at a glance month calendars are the smallest I’ve ever seen in a planner – only 0.75″ wide. Week numbers are also printed on the page. Saturday and Sunday share the same amount of planning space as a weekday which I tend to avoid (not enough room!) There is a bit of space at the top of the week for events, bills and other things happening that week. I really like these pages – so much list making space and checkboxes!Ĭonsistent with the monthly calendar, the weekly planner starts on a Monday. The calendar splits the boxes in 2 diagonally, rather than restarting the numbering on the top row □Įach month has a 2 page action list. I’m not sure why planners include this as it seems a bit pointless to me however I did have a reader email me once saying they used it for gardening. Public holidays have decorative icons next to them. The monthly calendar starts on a Monday (consistent with the weekly spread). This is an Aussie planner so has Australian public holidays and school terms broken down by state. ![]() Subscribe to my YouTube channel for more planner videos! As you train you mind, with the help of the prayer, to focus on actionable changes in life, you may find you worry less about things you cannot control. As the Bible says, "faith without works is dead." It does no good to believe in changing, and not taking action toward those changes. Get busy after you prayĪfter praying, try taking action and seeing how your prayer sets you up for success on things you can change. It also reaffirms in your heart that God is with you and will bless you as you strive to change your life for the better. The full serenity prayer also says, "trusting that He will make all things right if i surrender to His Will." Sometimes taking time to count your blessings and realize God has helped you in your life helps ease the stress of worrying about things outside of your control. ![]() It does not serve any purpose to worry about what your high school bully said 20 years ago, or dwell on unpleasant interactions with coworkers, it'll rob you of peace and serenity that we all desperately need in this life. It is useful to recognize that truly the only thing you can control is what is happening in this current moment. Each day is different and brings its own set of challenges and pleasures. ![]() Identify what is in your immediate controlĪs the serenity prayer says - "live one day at a time enjoying one moment at a time," you must create a habit of focusing on the present day's issues and blessings. Here are some ideas to start living the prayer: There is peace in letting go of strong expectations and let God help you understand what is worth changing. ![]() How can you accept things you cannot change?Īs the prayer mentions, there are things you cannot change, even though you would like things to be different. Wisdom comes with experience and the serenity prayer helps you ask God to attain this wisdom so you do not waste efforts trying to change things you cannot - such as other people, or macro-level issues that truly are out of reach. This prayer aims to ask God for help to help you identify what small steps you can take to start making positive change. In addition, the serenity prayer, despite its length, is full of core Christian values that are important reminders to any follower of Christ.įor example, you may have some bad habits that you want to change but know it is incredibly difficult to reverse bad habits. The intent of the prayer is to help you recognize what you can and cannot control and find wisdom to discern what you can change in your life versus some things that you cannot. Maybe you are suffering from addiction and trying to recover, or maybe you are subconsciously choosing to care about many different things that are making life tough. The Serenity Prayer appeared in a sermon of Niebuhr's as part of the 1944 A Book of Prayers and Services for the Armed Forces, while Niebuhr himself first published it in 1951 in a magazine column. The prayer spread rapidly, often without attribution to Niebuhr, through church groups in the 1930s and 1940s and was adopted and popularized by Alcoholics Anonymous and other twelve-step programs. Niebuhr used various versions of the prayer widely in sermons as early as 1934.
![]() Many of the baseless suggestions were tied to billionaire Bill Gates after he mentioned the idea of “digital certificates” to identify people already tested for COVID-19. RFID tags can be used to store information that is then communicated to a nearby reader.įalse claims around COVID-19 vaccines containing microchips have circulated since early in the pandemic, before inoculations to combat the disease were available. In comparison, the smallest current-generation RFID chips that have been developed are around 0.25mm in size. Murdoch University professor of immunology Cassandra Berry told AAP FactCheck that in order for a microchip to pass through a syringe needle easily it would need to be smaller than 10 microns, or ten one-thousandths of a millimetre. The specifications for various 25-gauge needles show most have internal diameters of less than 0.3mm (see examples here, here and here). I don’t think this is possible considering it would also need to involve a transmitter,” he said. “The microchip would need to be a fraction of this to stop it from getting clogged.
